Cyber Safety Talk Parent Education
Join us as Hidden Hills PTA hosts a free family Cyber Safety Talk | Parent Education on Wednesday November 15 at 7 PM at the Hidden Hills Elementary MPR for a special presentation with our featured speaker, Darryl Holcombe, Contra Costa County District Attorney’s Office. With a swipe of a finger, children have access to endless possibilities – to learn, grow and connect joyfully. While kids scroll through TikTok, experiment with face filters, post Snapchat stories, upload content to YouTube or play on Roblox, they’re not thinking about data privacy, cyberbullying, scams, or other potential dangers. There are as many as 500,000 predators online who pose threats to our children daily. That is why making sure kids are safe online should be an important conversation.
